Woodeden Easter Seals Camp

Overlooking the Thames River on the outskirts of London, Easter Seals Camp Woodeden is situated on 107 acres of beautifully landscaped ground that includes an accessible tree house, a collection of trees/plants from around the world, and beautiful Japanese influenced architecture. Originally known as “Woodholm,” Easter Seals acquired the property in 1946 to create a camp in southwestern Ontario for Easter Seals kids.

Easter Seals Camp Merrywood

Easter Seals Camp Merrywood is located on a beautiful peninsula stretching out into Big Rideau Lake. The camp sits on 30 acres of property between Smiths Falls and Perth in Eastern Ontario.

Built in 1948, Camp Merrywood began as a summer camp for kids with polio. Six campers attended in its first year.

Dear Easter Seals Families,

Welcome to our E-aster Seals Virtual Camp experience.

We are so pleased that you are able to join us and be part of this incredible opportunity.  Being a former camper myself, I can’t wait to see what our Camp Directors from Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden and their team have created for us.  Be sure to practice your singing skills, sharpen up your craft creativity and welcome the opportunity to share and see your friends and counsellors throughout the summer.

Thank you for being part of our Easter Seals team, and we look forward to hearing your feedback as we work together to provide the best possible virtual camping experience.

Continue to be safe and healthy.

Leaders in Training

Image at the high ropes course at Camp Woodeden (background)

The Leaders in Training program is an intensive program that will run alongside session camp programming throughout the summer. L.I.T. campers will find their own specific programming on the campsite. The full Leaders in Training program will be delivered virtually in the same capacity as it would while at physical camp. This intensive program will engage L.I.T. campers in activities and workshops to demonstrate and enhance decision making, initiative, and leadership capabilities. The program will enable L.I.T. campers to engage in the daily programming and submit their products and reflection for feedback. Please do note, that although there is no minimum commitment for session campers, that there will be a minimum commitment for L.I.T. campers. For more information please contact:
